Humanitarian aid to people affected by the conflict in Ukraine
Why do we help in Ukraine?
ADRA Czech Republic has been active in Ukraine since 2011. In the context of the recent military conflict that broke out at the end of February 2022, the need for immediate humanitarian aid emerged. Since the beginning of the war, more than 7,3 million people have been forced to flee their homes. As a result of the events, the threat of food shortage has arisen, but the current situation is stable.
How do we help?
Our assistance is concentrated in the most war-affected regions of Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhya. These are the areas where intense fighting is taking place and where the need for help is really required. In relation to good food supply, ADRA Czechia in cooperation with ADRA Ukraine decided to distribute multi-purpose cash aid (MPCA), which will allow 11 283 people to purchase goods according to their current needs.
Our primary goal is to ensure the safety and survival of all those directly affected by the war.
